A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that delivers that result. Piqua Residents Directory does not retain a separate copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the information in your message only to respond.

Like most websites, our hosting environment creates routine logs such as an IP address, browser information, viewed pages, and visit times. We use aggregated information to maintain the service and understand page traffic. Basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or similar tools.
How Information Is Used
Information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links lead to Miami County and Ohio record portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Those organizations govern information submitted on their pages under their own privacy terms. The same is true of sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who Can Process Data
Providers that host or support the service process logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise only as described here.
Data Safeguards
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. There are no site accounts, passwords, or personal profiles stored here.
